Ceiling Hanger Point Layout Project

For the ZAC Euratlantique – Armagnac Sud – Ilot O project in Bordeaux, France, LightYX supported the layout of approximately 13,000 ceiling hanger points for the installation of floating ceiling elements.

Using full-scale laser projection, the layout was brought directly from the digital drawings to the jobsite surface, allowing the crew to identify and mark hanger point locations quickly and accurately. Instead of relying on traditional manual measuring and marking, the team used laser-projected points to accelerate the ceiling layout workflow and improve field execution.

The project demonstrated how LightYX can support large-scale ceiling installation by reducing layout time, improving marking consistency, and helping crews move faster across complex building areas.

LightYX reduced the estimated manual layout duration from 59 days to 9 days, saving approximately 50 working days on site. This represents an ~85% reduction in layout time compared with the traditional method.
