Project Summary
LightYX supported Turner on the Chase Sapphire Lounge project at LaGuardia Airport, helping execute a complex curved layout scope for a high-end leisure space. The layout included framing layout and curved slab-cut layout, requiring accurate field transfer of curved design elements from the digital drawings to the jobsite.
Using the BeamerOne system, LightYX projected the layout directly onto the work surface, allowing the field team to mark curved framing and slab-cut conditions quickly and accurately. This helped simplify a layout scope that would normally require significant manual measuring, string lines, templates, and repeated verification.
Project Results
LightYX completed 7,370 linear feet of curved layout in 6 days, helping Turner accelerate layout execution on a complex interior project. The system allowed the team to bring curved design information directly to the field, reducing manual interpretation and improving layout consistency.
The project demonstrated LightYX’s value for curved slab cuts , complex framing and specialty layout conditions, where traditional layout methods are slower, more labor-intensive, and more exposed to error.
